HI my son is 17 and would like to participate in the police explorers program , where does he have to go to register ?
the meetings are on tuesday’s from 6pm till 9pm show up on tuesday and ask for the explorers program the address is 1100 washington ave the miami beach police station.
This is a great program!
I was a member during 1993-1995 and still fondly remember the fun memories, the friendships and mostly the experience. It teaches young adults the importance of community involvement and responsibility and to those interested in pursuing a career in Law Enforcement it definately provides a great stepping stone.
I wish I could see this program spread into other states and be more widely available.
I was a police explorer for many years. i started when i was 14. does were the best days of my teenage years. i made friends that are still part of my life. this program will build character and its grear for those seeking a career in law enforcement.
